Listen, I grew up watching Christiane Amanpour, so pardon me for my excitement about being interviewed for her show. The interview was 18 minutes long. That’s eighteen. And it wasn’t just about the Bengal election results, but also about the book. (18 months after its release!) How, man? Anyway, it was a milestone, and I gleefully shared it with family elders who watched her through the Gulf wars in the ’90s and ’00s. I’m told everything has been forgiven and they love me again.
